Roadbase
Rowcon Recycling is a major supplier of road building construction materials, to the civil construction, industrial and residential building industries.
CBR15 (MR 2.5)
CBR15 Roadbase is a type 2.5 grade 20mm recycled concrete product that, when compacted, is ideal for under-slab applications, is widely used as a subgrade or sub-base in road construction, and filling of large voids where engineered compaction requirements may be necessary.
- Pavement Construction Subgrade
- Road Construction
- Select Structural Fill
- Under-slab applications
- Lighter than virgin quarried material
- Greater stability and longevity of structures
- Highly compactable
- Withstands moisture and wet areas
CBR45 (MR 2.3)
CBR45 is a type 2.3 recycled concrete roadbase, consisting of well graded 20mm minus crushed concrete. It is highly compactable and used as a base layer in road construction, hard stand or car park pavements and under-slab preparations.
- New road construction base
- Hardstand & car park construction
- Driveway sub-base
- Under-slabs preparations
- Sustainable alternative to virgin quarry materials
- Greater stability and longevity of structures
- Highly compactable
- Withstands moisture and wet areas
CBR80 (MR 2.1)
CBR 80 is a type 2.1 (20mm minus) roadbase, finely graded recycled concrete product consisting of crushed concrete and natural stone. It is highly compactable material used as a base layer in new road construction, car parks developments and under-slab preparations where highly compactable materials have been specified.
- New road construction road base
- Hard stand & car park construction
- Driveway sub-base
- Under concrete slab preparations
- Sustainable alternative to virgin quarry products
- Greater stability and longevity of pavements
- Highly compactable
- Withstands high-traffic areas
General Clean Fill
Highly compactable fill is Yellow to light pink, contains clay, and is free from organics, rock and contaminants.
- Backfilling solid ground
- Fill a void
- Create a level surface
- Fill for Structural Applications
- Alter grading and elevation of a site
- Clay is dense, so it won’t cave or sink
- It’s an inexpensive way to backfill
- Avoid erosion in construction sites
- Foundations of buildings stability and longevity
